의사선생님 말은 그렇죠!

하지만 책에서 생리는 여성성을 축하하는 신성한 리듬이라고 했어요.

 

Goddess within = 융이라는 심리학자가 쓴 책

represent = 나타내다, 대표하다

womanhood = 여자, 여자임, 여성성

 

 

 

 Silver lining, Kenny's letter was addressed to camp, 

so at least he'll never find out how hard you were crushing after Chubby Bunny.

긍정적으로 보면, 케니에게 쓴 편지는 캠프 주소로 보내졌으니까,

적어도 그때 그 게임이 끝나고 내가 얼마나 짝사랑 했는지 그는 모를거야.

 

Silver lining = (힘든 상황에 비치는) 한줄기 희망

*원래 Silver lining은 가득한 구름 끄트머리로 햇살이 비치는 선(silver edge)을 의미합니다. 이게 하나의 표현이 되어 "Every cloud has a silver lining." 이라는 속담도 있습니다. "아무리 상황이 좋지 않아도 한줄기 희망은 있다." 라는 긍정적으로 생각하자는 뉘앙스입니다.
